Day 1
Sept. 26 Drive to Hendersonville (5-6 hrs)
Possible activities upon arrival: evening birding.
Optional: meetup with group for dinner.
Day 2
Sept. 27: Birding for migrants: cuckoos, vireos, thrushes, warblers.
a visit to a Hawkwatch site. Local Hendersonville hot spots.
Day 3
Sept. 28: Morning along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visiting Mt. Mitchell. Afternoon visits to other iconic birding spots. More migrants!
Day 4
Sept. 29: Local morning birding. Driving back to Wilmington. Optional: hot spots along the drive!
