Did you know that less than 16% of blue plaques on buildings represent women? Rosie's Plaques is a national art movement to raise awareness of the roles and achievements of women and Stafford Soroptimists have chosen the Women's Timber Corps and those working in the Forestry Commission for their blue plaque.
The group have made the plaque that will be attached to the museum building and there will be a short unveiling ceremony.
The plaque will be unveiled at 1.30pm with a dedication by the Soroptimists. The museum will be open 1-3.30pm.
