Blue Orbit Combo has been lighting up clubs across Chicago, IL for the past 6 years. They return to the Star Union SPirits after their triumphant debut last fall. The group brings an accessible blend of rockin' jazz, blues, and funk drawing inspiration from the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Stanton Moore, Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard and many more. Their unique arrangements, harmonies, improvisations, and hard-driving rhythm section quite often spur contemporaneous dancing and toe-tapping.
