Join us for an evening of music that captures the spirit of America, led by guest conductor Nadège Foofat.The program features George Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue," performed by Washington native and Whitman College graduate Stephen Beus, piano. Now celebrating its 100th anniversary, this piece combines jazz and classical styles, making it enjoyable for all.
The program will also include Jennifer Higdon’s "Cold Mountain Suite", Aaron Copland’s "Appalachian Spring Suite", and George Gershwin's "Lullaby."
At the concert, enjoy a glass of wine from our featured wine sponsor, Prospice Wines, for $5 a glass (all proceeds benefit the Walla Walla Symphony). Sweet treats and a non-alcoholic beverage will also be available for purchase during intermission.
