We had a great time at the return of the open mic a few weeks ago at Blue Mountain Pizza in Weaverville, with a great turnout of musicians and supporters! We are happy to announce it will continue on the last Monday of every month! Here are the details and format:
- ACOUSTIC OPEN MIC. No amps, electric guitars or drums, (hand percussion, conga, cajon allowed), no backing tracks. Keyboards allowed, (will run through PA), electric bass allowed (will run through PA).
- this is a music based open mic. We appreciate and love all poets, comedians, etc., but this is an open mic for music, not spoken word.
- solo, duo or trios welcome
- PA provided with DI's, vocal mics/stands.
- audio engineer provided.
- all skill levels welcome.
- 4 songs or 15 minutes (whichever comes first).
- performance time from 630-930
- we will have 10 performance slots open starting at 630pm. If we have time for more, we will certainly do our best to fit them in.
Your support and feedback is appreciated!
We are hoping to create a supportive positive environment for people to play their favorite cover songs or try out new songs they've written. Come on out to hear some tunes and have some delicious pizza, Italian food and cold drinks with friendly service!
