Formed over 40 years ago in the squat lands of West London, Blue Midnight were originally part of the "bad music" scene, forerunner of the "Lo-Fi" movement in the post-punk era. They plied their trade in such venues as the Idiot Ballroom in the basement of the now demolished Clarendon Hotel in Hammersmith. Alan Dogend’s Little Majic Theatre, a squatted venue in West London. The Raindrop Hotel situated in the Free State of Frestonia. And Meanwhile Gardens, often sharing the same bill as The Mob, World Domination Enterprises, and the Instant Automatons. Mike Fullick on Drums, Elliet MacKrell(Kangaroo Moon/Chris Jagger band) on Violin, Grant Showbiz(producer and live sound engineer, Principally known for his work with The Fall, The Smiths, and Billy Bragg) on Bass, And last but not least Nick Waterhouse(The Impossible Dreamers/The Lilac Time) on Trombone…
With support from locally based singer/guitarist Surfin Dave, this promises to be a great night of high quality entertainment…
