On the first Saturday of each month, YRPA volunteers tackle a bigger project at one of our parks. Bring a friend! And also bring water, work gloves, and sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather. A shovel, fence pliers, and/or a pair of loppers are also often handy. For Saturday, April 5th, we're meeting at Amanda White Homestead Park, which is home to the Blue Creek Boat Ramp and Fishing Access Site and also the Blue Creek Bike Park. Our plan is to remove Russian Olives, pick up trash, and clear trails ahead of the busy summer season. Bring loppers, a hand-saw or small electric pruning/chainsaw if you have one.
Directions: head South on South Billings Boulevard toward the landfill. Just after the Yellowstone River Bridge, turn left into the Blue Creek Fishing Access Site.
