I'm Not From London's first blues signing back way back in 2014 via our imprint label Wire & Wool Records Ryan’s first record ‘Worries & Troubles’ debuted at No.1 on the iTunes Blues Chart.
Ryan is a young singer-songwriter hailing from Nottingham, UK. His combination of blues, country and folk have marked him as one of the Midlands rising stars with influences from Robert Johnson, Seasick Steve and Johnny Cash.
With regular BBC Introducing airplay for Ryan as well as slots at some of the Midlands most prestigious venues working with major promoters in venues such as Rescue Rooms and Glee Club Splendour, Dot To Dot Waterfront Festivals and after a brief hiatus the man is back at the Running Horse especially for this gig. BLOOD RED MOON

Blood Red Moon are a blues rock band from the UK who are helping to keep the blues alive. The band is a five piece consisting of harmonica, guitar, bass, drums and vocals whose want to bring great tunes to you and have fun whilst doing it.

KAREN MACLEOD

Karen Macleod, a solo acoustic artist ( former member of acoustic blues duo, The Hogrenderers and blues duo Sanders and Macleod) is also an accomplished fingerstyle guitarist, slide player and singer who plays an eclectic mix of old country blues, ragtime, American folk, country and bluegrass songs. Although based in the Midlands, she has performed at various blues and folk festivals around the country, including the Great British Blues Festival at Colne, Burnley Blues Festival, where she supported Ian Seigal, and also Glastonbury, as well as performing in the USA and Europe. She has supported American guitarist Woody Mann, Delta Blues player Hans Theesink, and also spent two years living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia before hoboing across the USA on freight trains (Only got caught twice!) You can expect to hear influences of these experiences in her well crafted instrumentals and original songs. As well as two cds with The Hogrenderers she has also released a cd of her own guitar instrumentals, The Wind on the Sea, very favourably reviewed in The Living Tradition folk magazine, and all of which are available to download for free on Bandcamp, Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music etc.
