The United Way partnered with Blue Collie Coffee to engage businesses and the community to revamp and modernize the coffee shop. “Blue Collie supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing employment and job training” but that is not all they do. Ask anyone who steps through the doors. Blue Collie empowers all of us to realize the essence of this small shop through its sense of community and charm. There is never a time that these individuals and their special kindness and willingness to help will not touch your heart.
We are excited to have a grand reopening. Thanks to the United Way of Franklin County, Franklin County Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee, Majestic, Habitat for Humanity, Lowes, Alvin Alston, Youngsville Cabinetry, Home Depot, Target, and countless others who have given time and energy into making this space just a bit more inviting to enjoy your day.
