While the season of winter holidays is full of love and joy, it can also be a time of grief, nostalgia, or loneliness for some of us. Whether you live far away from your friends and family, you have recently lost a loved one, or you just find yourself feeling a little stressed by the season, our Blue Christmas prayer service and potluck dinner is for you!Join us for an quiet and contemplative service of music and prayers. For this service we gather on the longest night of the year to acknowledge the grief and stress that can accompany the holidays. All are welcome to bring a dish to share at a casual potluck dinner after the service.
Come just as you are. There will be opportunities to share memories during the service, but you may participate as much or as little as you like. Come just as you are-- All are welcome!
