Blue Bayou are a new wave, chamber pop band with horns and strings. Expect ballads and dance numbers, slacker rock and art pop: eight bands in an eight song set. This is music in the fashion of Costello’s knocking knees.Formed in Oxford, the group have developed their reputation as an exclusive, “infamous” live band (BBC), through sold out home shows, insistent touring, and an eclectic, confounding live act.
They are currently produced by Chris Barker (Willie J. Healey) and aided in management by Oli Steadman (Stornoway).
