Join us for a fun night of blues, rock & funk! Blue Aces hit the stage in the brewery at 7:30pm. No Cover, All ages til 9pm. The BluAces are a 5-piece band. Band leader and keyboardist/vocalist. Fred May has been performing in the Eugene area for the past.25 years. Freds1st band, the Franklin Ladies Aid Society, was an Americana band. That performed from 2000 to 2010. Fred then went back to his rock band roots and formed the Fred May Band. The most recent transition added the Blues and some Funk and the BluAces were born.
Guitarist and vocalist Paul Van Steenberg has been a part of all three bands. Bassist Michael Eisenmen joined Fred and Paul as the country was just coming out of the covid era. Percussionist Brian Delaney was next to join the new band. The final addition was Bartley (Bart) Armitage. Bart plays congas and guitar and is well-known for his vocal and Harmonica skills.
