About this Event
Did you know there are frogs and salamanders living at Burnaby Lake Regional Park?
Join BLPA Volunteer Guide Simon for a guided walk to see amphibians and learn more about them. We will search for frog and salamander spawn, listen for frogs and and see frogs and tadpoles in the pools and ditches beside the Burnaby Lake trails.
If you have a pair of polarized sunglasses, we would recommend bringing them to help you see into the water.
The walk is approximately 2.5 km on level ground, at a slow gentle stroll. The trip will take approximately one hour..
Stop by the BLPA display display to learn more about the flora and fauna you can see in the park, the work we do and how to get involved!
MEETING LOCATION:
Meet near the kiosk in front of the Burnaby Lake Nature House - look for the BLPA flag.
