Join local yoga teacher Emma Blunston for a special yoga class underneath the blossom trees in the orchard at Hanbury Hall on Monday 28 April.“Blossom trees in spring bring life, energy, places to sit and reflect, objects to watch sway in wind. They can ground us and remind us of the world beyond our immediate surroundings and take us out of ourselves when we need time away from the problems of our lives.” ~ Tom Shuttleworth, Trees and Woodland Advisor, National Trust
Take a deep breath and release tension as you relax beneath the beautiful blossom trees. Enjoy their sweet scent and listen to the birdsong all around you. Emma will guide you through a 60-minute yoga class, perfect for beginners and those who want gentle morning practice. The class will combine gentle yoga movement, meditation, mindfulness and relaxation, all while you listen to the sounds of spring in a historic orchard. It really is the best way to start your morning.
Please be aware that you will be practising yoga in an outdoor space, so wildlife will be around, such as bees, insects, birds, and butterflies, and the weather may be cold and wet. The class will only be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.
Please wear warm clothing and bring your own mat. Booking essential.
