The and Bloomin' PGC Partners invite you to participate in our upcoming Urban Farmers & Growers Open Mic Night! This event is a platform for the urban farm community to collaborate and share useful information. Any urban farming-related topics—land leases, equipment and supplies, staffing and volunteering, resource-sharing, grants, and mental health— are open for discussion. While the focus is on urban farmers in Prince George's County, all farmers and growers are welcome to join us!
Must have at least 12 farmers registered BY NOON the day before the Open Mic Night or it's subject to cancellation.

Join us at , where Farmer Gale Livingstone will share her composting operation and the importance of compost for building soil health and reducing expensive inputs. We'll take a tour of her farm and learn how she's used state and federal conservation financial assistance programs to further her conservation goals and build infrastructure on the farm. Deep Roots Farm is a regenerative, black woman-owned and operated farm located in Upper Marlboro, MD. Gale grows vegetables, herbs, fruit, and flowers, and raises chickens on 53 acres for the community.
We'll also hear updates on federal financial assistance programs for conservation practices from our friends at USDA NRCS.
