About this Event
The Bloom Together workshop creates a safe and transparent environment for Mothers and Daughters (aged 11-15) is to empower both the mother and daughter to navigate the mental health journey with greater awareness, understanding, and collaboration - leading to improved mental wellness for the entire family. This interactive program aims to foster open communication, build understanding, and develop coping strategies to navigate the unique challenges faced during adolescence and the mother-daughter relationship.
Participants of the Bloom Together workshop will embark on a transformative journey, exploring topics such as emotional intelligence, stress management, and effective communication. Through a blend of engaging activities, group discussions, and one-on-one mentoring, mothers and daughters will learn to cultivate a deeper bond, understand each other's perspectives, and develop the tools to navigate the complexities of adolescence together.
The organization is organizing two workshops. The first one will take place on November 23rd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Main Library. The second workshop is scheduled for December 14th, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, at the Arts Impact Middle School.
The workshops will utilize materials from the "A Seed Into A Flowher" Journal, which includes interactive exercises. Participants must purchase the journal/workbook in advance, and all books will be signed by the authors.
Food will be served.
