Magic: The Gathering pre-release events are highly anticipated gatherings that precede the official release of a new card set. During a pre-release event, players have the exclusive opportunity to experience the upcoming cards before they hit store shelves. Participants receive a prerelease kit containing booster packs from Bloom Burrow, along with other promotional items. These events often use a unique sealed deck format, where players build a deck on the spot from the cards they open. Materials Needed: Basic lands for deck building as well as play mats are available to loan.
Tournament Structure: One fifty minute round for drafting and deck building, followed by 3 rounds of Swiss tournament pairings.
Age: 14 and up please ( a fundamental level of Magic the Gathering is required to participate)
