This event was created for all the music & rib lovers around the Tri-City & Great Lake Bay Region area! The Bloom & Blaze Rock-N-Blues Rib Festival will take place on Saturday July 20th 2024, outside at Ojibway on the Island from 12noon to 6pm. The event will showcase some of our great local blues, rock, jazz, R&B, Latin, funk & country bands from around the Midwest, as well as nationally known musical artists. Along with great music, the festival will also have food & merchant vendors, food trucks, rib cook off contest, beer & wine tent, corn hole tournament, car show, bounce houses & gaming trucks for the children! This event will be free for the public and expected to have over 5,000ppl.We are welcoming food/food truck & merchant vendors as well as businesses that offer free services to the community. Vending prices are:
$100(Food/Food trucks)
$50(Merchant-Non food)

Purpose of Event: The Rock-N-Blues Rib Festival has a multipurpose targeted agenda! We want to help raise awareness of epilepsy, provide funding for scholarships to specific students at the new combined high school, Saginaw United. The scholarships will be presented by Def Cutz Entertainment LLC in the name of DeLeonce Williams Jr. DeLeonce was a product of Saginaw Public Schools and was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 12. On 9-11-2014, DeLeonce was accidently shot and killed. He was 15yrs of age at the time of his death and was a sophomore at Saginaw High School.
