About this Event
Since the early 1960s, the music of Bloodstone has been interwoven with world culture. Their 1973 hit song "Natural High" displayed the sweeping power of African-American artistry with its transcendent blend of soul, Rock, R&B, blues, and doo-wop. Hailing from Kansas City, Bloodstone are a shining example of the Black musical culture of our state and community.
In November of 2024, music fans across the world mourned the lost of Bloodstone founding member Harry Williams. Carrying on the band's musical legacy, Bloodstone will perform a one-night-only benefit concert for St. Louis's National Blues Museum and its community work, which ranges from in-school education and STEAM programs to free music and cultural festivals and public jam sessions.
We thank you for your support of the music of Missouri and cannot wait to share this wonderful night with you and Bloodstone!
