About this Event
This beautiful animation depicts a story about home and belonging, and how we connect to different people and cultures across borders, even when they are or might feel closed.
With a particular spotlight on pan-European friendships, Bloodland Embrace also highlights the experiences of refugees and displaced people seeking safety in Europe.
Presented by award winning interactive arts studio Invisible Flock and music by composer James Hamilton.
This stunning projection takes place outdoors and runs at intervals throughout the evening from 18:15 - 21:00
Weather: This screening is outside and there will be no wet weather cover so please bring a kagool or a brolly and make a plan to get dry in one of the local bars/restaurants with a drink afterwards. A bit of rain never hurt anyone, It wont stop us so it shouldn't stop you.
Seating: Will only be available for those with access needs so feel free to either bring a camping chair or stand, the show will be about 15 minutes.
Social Distancing: Whilst attending this event please ensure you are respectful of our staff, security and other members of the public and maintain social distancing. Creating some space for yourself and others will also help to enhance the viewing experience.
Food & Drink: Please don't bring any food or drink into the event space. The installation will only run for 10-20 minutes and there are plenty of great food and drink offerings in the vicinity you can visit before or after you join us.
Parking: We don't have any parking available for this event specifically. Please travel by public transport where possible.
Dogs: Well behaved dogs on leads will be allowed within our event space but please pick up after them if they can't hold it.
