Join us for 'Blood, Sweat & Cheers', a fundraiser to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
In Canada, there are currently 155,593 people living with or in remission from one of the 137 types of blood cancers.
The LLSC is the largest registered charitable health agency dedicated to supporting the blood cancer community in Canada. Their focus includes:
Funding research from bench to bedside
Rethinking how a person navigates their blood cancer experience
Providing targeted blood cancer information
Offering tools for psychological and emotional support
Empowering Canadians to take charge of their blood cancer experience through practical support and advocacy.
WHERE - The park beside Michael A. Kostek School. Note: This is an outdoor event.
COST - By donation. Please donate however much you can/feel is most appropriate. Recommended amount: $15/person.
WHO - All of our instructors are Certified Zumba Instructors who will be volunteering their time and services towards this non-profit event.
