JOIN ACT AT ATL THIS APRIL!Artists Collaborative Theatre is hosting auditions for a special, two performance only run of Blood Song: The Story of the Hatfields and the McCoys by Chelsea Marcantel at Actors Theatre of Louisville!
Twenty-five years of violence, two families, one story. Blood Song: The Story of the Hatfields and the McCoys is the official Kentucky state play on the feud and is widely regarded as the most historically accurate re-telling of the true events. Blood Song is a gripping rumination on family, tribalism, community, and the cycle of violence.
Actors Theatre is the official State Theatre of Kentucky and has a proud history of championing exciting, new, and challenging work that creates ripples across the nation. Many plays in ACT's history had their world premieres at Actors Theatre, including Crimes of the Heart, The Christians, and The Thin Place! Many accomplished actors have performed at Actors Theatre during their long history including Kathy Bates, Julianne Moore, and Holly Hunter. Join our ensemble as we tread those same boards this April.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
