Blood Red Skies - Turkey Shoot! - Organized Play DaySaturday, 11/15/2025
All flight crews, SCRAMBLE for CPG's FIRST Blood Red Skies Organized Play Day!
The event will proceed as follows:
* 10:00am - Store Open, Demo Games Begin, Entry Opens
* 11:30am - Last Demo Games Start
* 12:30pm - Entry Closes
* 1:00pm - 2v2 "Turkey Shoot" - Round 1
* 2:00pm - 2v2 "Turkey Shoot" - Round 2
* 3:00pm - Conclusion & Prizes
Entry is $5 for the "Turkey Shoot," Demo games are FREE, and loaner squadrons are available for demo games.
Force Lists for the Turkey Shoot are due at Entry; each player should build to the following standards:
* 500 Points max
* Max one (x1) Skill 5 Pilot
* Max one (x1) Ace Skill Card
* Max one (x1) Doctrine Card
* NO Special Characters
* NO Theater Cards
* NO Jets
* Squadrons should use uniform aircraft
* Multiple Squadrons are permitted
* Where there is an option in the "Wing Commander" compendium for multi-engine fighters to be purchased for use with the "Heavy Fighter" optional rule, players should use this option.
Experienced players should bring their own aircraft painted with at least in their main color. New players buying in "same day" are exempted from this requirement.
CPG uses the optional rule for "critical dodges" (two 6s on a dodge roll negate any "Boom Chits" suffered from the attack).
The following prizes will be awarded:
* The Flying Circus (most kills as a squadron)
* The Ace of Spades (plane with most individual kills)
* Flak Magnets (squadron with the most boom chits)
Exact Prizes are TBD, and may depend on attendance.
Demo games are walk-in - no preregistration is required.
