There are so many reasons to donate, here are a few....
1- Pay it forward,
The hospitals are always in need of blood, donating save lives.
2- New York Blood Center will give you a mini check up. They'll check your blood pressure, as well as your blood looking for anemia and etc.
3- You'll learn your blood type if you don't already know it.
I'm O+ (Regina) A universal donor.
4- You earn an entry to win one of the many gift baskets donated from our local sponsors. Each gift it valued between $40. - $400.
There will be multiple winners.

5- August is "Pint for Pint" month and Mattingly's Tavern will have a pint waiting for you.
6- You'll get to eat a mini slice of pizza right after, donated from Rookie's pizzeria.
7- It's a great community service, your soul will feel happier when you help others.
