About this Event
This workshop is designed specifically for the baby stylist or new apprentice who’s ready to get off cleaning duties and take on their own clients, build their clientelle— and in return, contribute revenue to the salon.
If you’re eager to learn the essential skills to become a confident balayage colorist, this hands-on day is for you!
What You’ll Learn:
- Basic balayage application techniques
- Root shadow + toning application
- Formulation fundamentals
- Styling and finishing techniques
- How to take the perfect social media content to showcase your work
You’ll leave this workshop with practical skills you can apply straight away in your salon— helping you build your confidence, speed, and value as a stylist.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
- Your own hairdryer
- Your blow-drying weaving brushes and styling tools
- Drink bottle
- A model with all-natural hair (Please ensure your model is available for the entire duration of the workshop.)
- If they are using unprofessional products, get them into your salon for a detox a few days before the class (no one wants a chemical reaction!)
- PREP your model for a content shoot: ask them to wear a black top and jeans, and to have nice makeup and bring some to touch up on the day. We are going to start your hair page portfolio!
