Block Talks is an initiative by PARS to support deep listening and dialogue among neighbors for community-led solutions.
Supported by various data metrics (public health, crime reports, etc.), Historic Old Town neighborhood was identified as both an area with great need AND an area that would most benefit from intervention tools. Block Talks - Historic Old Town is the next step to weaving in lived experience and identifying organic responses to shift us away from current patterns.
Important Information:
*Block Talks - Historic Old Town will take place outdoors at the field located across from 908 SW 7th - the Life Resource & Job Training Center.
*In the event of rain, Block Talks - Historic Old Town will move inside the resource center.
*Participants are welcome to go and come as they need to, but encouraged to stay long enough to engage (at least 30 minutes).
*All ages and interested parties are welcome to attend
