About this Event
Learn the fundamentals of block printing with JC maker, Ashlyn Spector! Block printing is a fun way to create art prints and patterns using handmade stamps.
To start, Ashlyn will instruct the class on how to properly transfer designs to rubber. From there, we'll move on to carving, inking, and then applying your designs to cards and paper. Participants will walk away with with their own print, plus at least 1 stamp they can use for future art projects.
If you have a design or drawing you'd like to use for your stamp, we encourage you to bring it (simple designs are best, no larger than 4" x 6").
Note: Due to the sharp tools required for carving, attendants must be a minimum of 16 years.
