About this Event
Come learn how to carve a linocut print and print some patches! You'll learn the tips and tricks of how to carve and print a linoleum block print patch from start to finish with Philly printmaker Charlotte Holt. No experience necessary. We will go over how to transfer your drawing to the block, how to carve your block, and finally how to print your patches by hand and on the press. You will leave the workshop with a handful of patches and the know-how to print on your own at home.

Charlotte Holt a prominently self employed printmaker and teaching artist, living and working in West Philadelphia. She fell in love with the craft of printmaking in undergrad and has been printing ever since. She creates beautifully simple but intricate colorful hand printed prints and cards. Her work has always been a point of joy and connection for Holt. Holt teaches various printmaking workshops at organizations such as Main Line Art, Tacony LABS, and Peters Valley School of Craft.
