Location: 1) Parkette Franklyn and Milton Street for alley way clean up.
2) Backyard of 450 Kennedy street for potluck and barbecue. Thank you Bard and Rob for providing your beautiful yard for us to gather in.
Who: Residents living on either side of the alleyway between Fitzwilliam and Albert street on 300 -500 Kennedy and Milton as well as residents on Franklyn Street from Kennedy to Milton.
4pm-5pm Alleyway clean up and beautification. City of Nanaimo is donating mulch! Thank you @cityofnanaimo.
5:30pm-8pm Barbecue and potluck. Barbecue items will be purchased with the grant money from Glassen farms and Moose and bean farm. We encourage residents to bring a dish to share, a chair to sit on and something to drink.
Available plants for alleyway beautification are day lilies, yarrow, irises, breadseed poppy seeds, Shirley poppy seeds, autumn joy sedum, limelight sedum,Calendula seeds, lady’s mantle, hostas.
