Block carve/printing workshop

Join us for the very first gathering of our Arts & Craft Club with Stacks Espresso ! In this hands-on workshop, you'll have a chance to grab a sip and bite at the cafe bar, and head upstairs for some creative fun.

We'll be diving into the world of block carving and stamp printing. You’ll design and carve your very own stamp on a 4" x 6" rubber carving block , then use it to create 4 personalized cards to take home.

This workshop involves the use of sharp carving tools. By registering, participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own safety and agree to follow all instructions provided. B.cpaints nor Stacks Espresso bar located on lark street in Albany, NY (Location where event will be held)are responsible for any injuries that may occur during the workshop.

• Recommended for ages 18+.
• Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present and provide written permission.
• All materials and basic safety guidance will be provided throughout workshop.

About Stacked with Creativity
I had the vision to begin Stacked with Creativity to bring people together around art, connection, and healing. Alone, creativity is sacred—I love the quiet flow it brings—but when we gather, something magical happens. We see inside each other’s minds, share our doubts and joys, and find comfort knowing we’re not alone in the process. This club can be a sober, welcoming space in Albany to relax, create, and find peace through making—because when we stack our ideas and stories together, creativity truly multiplies.

This session is all about creativity, community, and fun — no prior experience needed! We’ll provide all the materials and guidance you need. Print outs of autumn/halloween /Christmas themed designs will be available for inspiration, but feel free to bring a personal reference image. Bring your imagination, and leave with your unique handmade stamp and cards.

Your stamp can also become a part of future club projects, so you’ll have the chance to return and continue building on your creations in upcoming workshops.
