Join us for the BLK INK Book Festival - New Orleans on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 11 AM - 3 PM at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters located in New Orleans’ City Park Botanical Gardens.
The BLK INK Book Festival is a four-hour book expo filled with 75+ diverse authors in every genre, music, storytelling in the garden, and local author VIP exhibits. The event is free to the public. Pre-registration requested. Guests who pre-register via Eventbrite will automatically be signed up for our custom gift box drawing. To register as a guest, click the ticket button.

Exhibit spaces are available to writers, artists, and writing services. Costs:
- Inside Exhibit Booth: $150 (includes one 6 ft exhibit table, two chairs, and one sign)
- Inside Exhibit Bookstore Booth: $200 (includes one 8 ft exhibit table, three chairs, and one sign)
- Outside Exhibit Booth (under tent): $125 (includes one 6 ft exhibit table, two chairs, and one sign)
ADD-ONS: (1) Author Marketing Package ($50), Storytelling in the Garden ($35), (2) Writing Retreat at Whitney Plantation ($110) and (3) a custom Black Writers Workspace or Self-Published T-shirt ($27). JOIN US FOR A WHITNEY PLANTATION TOUR, WRITING RETREAT & LEGACY LUNCHEON ON SUNDAY, MAY 12
Join us for a voyage through time at the historic Whitney Plantation Museum in St. John the Baptist Parish, LA. Receive your custom Black Writers Workspace journal and pen and write in honor of our ancestors who survived the Middle Passage and slavery over 200 years ago. Fellowship with writers from across the country and enjoy Cajun cuisine during a ‘Legacy Luncheon’. The fee is $110 per person. Fees include bus transportation to and from the museum, the museum entry fee, a custom writing journal and pen, and lunch. Open to all writers.
