Look for meadow pipits and skylarks, as well as lizards and emperor moths.
Hear about the glacial and prehistory of the landscape and how peatlands have formed, as well as our plans to turn the forestry plantation back into bog.
- Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event.
- Bring a packed lunch and enjoy superb views of the majestic Sperrin mountains.
- The walk will be no longer than 3.5 miles in total.
- Bring binoculars if you have them.
- Suitable for all ages - under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
