Return to the innate wisdom of your body and dwell in bliss! Join Angela for an afternoon dedicated to exploring these nourishing practices designed to delve into the many layers of stress that are stored within the subtle body. We will begin with a somatic movement practice. This gentle practice encourages an inward sensory perception of our physical, emotional, and energetic bodies, with the intention of unwinding muscular tension, soothing pain, and regulating the nervous system.
Our Yin Yoga practice will celebrate the Autumn season which invite us to move inward. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the meridians associated with autumn are the lung and large intestine meridians. Those organ pairs support our immunity preparing us for a healthy fall season.
We will close our practice with Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a meditation-like practice in which you will be guided to a deep state of conscious relaxation. While in this state between sleep and wakefulness, you are encouraged to truly turn inward and explore the workings of your inner landscape.
