BLINK: Art on the Spectrum is a one-time pilot art workshop designed specifically for young children on the autism spectrum. This experience prioritizes freedom of expression, sensory exploration, and joyful mess-making, without pressure, expectations, or rigid structure.
Children will be invited to explore art at their own pace using:
- Painting and Drawing
- Sensory Play
- Dry-erase wall wallpaper
- Chalkboard wall surfaces
- Hands-on drawing tools and tactile materials
This workshop is process-based, not outcome-based—there is no “right way” to create.
- Large dry-erase wall wallpaper
- Chalkboard wallpaper for texture + contrast
- Low-stim lighting (no harsh fluorescents)
- Calm background music or quiet zones
- Clearly marked stations (but no forced rotation)
A low-pressure, open-flow studio environment.
Parent/Guardian Attendance Required
Parents or guardians must remain on-site and actively supervise their child during the workshop. BLINK facilitators guide the experience but do not provide one-on-one behavioral support or childcare.
