Welcome back Railsplitters! Thursday, August 21 BLH will once again be hosting our annual Chicken Bowl! For those of you that are new to the tradition- each fall LHS hosts a Fall Activities Introduction. Every other year there is a football scrimmage as part of the event. So you can think of Chicken Bowl like the Rose Bowl or any other "football bowl game". Non-scrimmage years the event takes on a community pep rally feel! Each year, ALL students involved in Fall activities are introduced and celebrated! With the exciting construction on campus, Chicken Bowl has looked a little different last year and this year. This year is not football scrimmage year, but Chicken Bowl will still be held in conjunction with back to school night as well as LHS Fall Activities Introductions!
BLH will once again be hosting our annual fundraiser and serving Chicken dinner baskets for $7 in the LHS Commons. Hot dog baskets will also be available for purchase at the $7 price. Baskets include Chicken strips or hot dog, chips,a cookie and water. Tickets for meals can be purchased at the door in the LHS Cafeteria. (Please note there are no advanced sales this year.)
All proceeds from the dinners benefits BLH in support of ALL student activities at LHS.
