Blessings in a Backpack Louisville Chapter is holding its 8th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, October 20, at 10 a.m.The event will include breakfast from Chick-fil-A, beverages, a post-event reception, exclusive swag, and a silent auction. Golfers will have the opportunity to use a “golf ball cannon” to help them drive the ball on one hole, ranging from 320-420 yards, and get the chance to try out signature drinks from Heaven Hill and Atrium Brewing along the course.
Players can participate as individual golfers, register as a team of four or become sponsors. Several sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals or businesses, ranging from the Presenting Sponsor to the Driving Range Sponsor or Hole Sponsor. If golfers are unable to attend this year’s classic, Play-it-Forward Sponsorships are also available. All proceeds from the classic will directly benefit local students.
Sponsors for the 8th Annual Golf Classic include Kroger, Chick-fil-A, Heaven Hill, ISCO Industries, Glick Companies, Republic Bank, and Oxmoor Auto Group.

Blessings in a Backpack Louisville Chapter is offering an early-bird discount through July 31. Individual golfers can register for $300 (saving $75), and team sponsorships are available for $1,200 (saving $300).
The Louisville Chapter of Blessings in a Backpack works to prevent childhood hunger on the weekends across Louisville. The organization aims to raise $65,000 through participation and sponsorships to feed more than 400 children during the upcoming school year.
