Emory Village Fall Festival: Blessing of the Animals, Trunk or Treat, & The Gathering Band

Join with Emory Village Alliance for this annual community event for all ages! Glenn will once again be hosting a Blessing of the Animals - new location this year: front lawn of Sanctuary near the roundabout & Emory gates!, a Trunk or Treat event for children on Oxford Road, and our Gathering band providing music on the main stage.
3:00pm - Blessing of the Animals
Location: at the front gate of Emory near Cliff/Marta bus stop at bottom lawn of Glenn Sanctuary
Bring your furry/feathered/scaly pets for a special blessing. All animals on leashes or pet carriers, please. (Be sure to check out the Emory Village pet costume contest, as well!)
3:30-5:00pm - Trunk or Treat (S. Oxford Rd) Drop of donations of nut-free candy & toys/trinkets at Rev. Susan Pinson’s office throughout October and volunteer here https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040F4CAAAF238-58684568-trunk#/ to host a car trunk!
Children (with their grown-ups!) visit each decorated car trunk to receive a treat. Costumes encouraged, but not required. Bring a bag or bucket - we’ll have extra! FREE, but families are invited to bring a non-perishable food pantry donation for Intown Cares.
