Each year in October, Catholics around the world celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. To honor St. Francis, the patron saint of animals, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital invites the community and their pets to a Pet Blessing on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Cancer Care Center, 1990 E. Lake Shore Dr.Pets of all kinds are welcome! Please properly restrain all pets.
