Each year, St. Paul's joyfully celebrates the Blessing of the Animals on or near St. Francis of Assisi’s feast day, inviting people to bring their beloved pets for a special blessing as a reminder that all creatures are cherished members of God’s creation. Bring your beloved pet (fur, feathers, or fins) for a joyful and one-of-a-kind celebration of God’s creation. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve come before, this sacred space is for you, whether you walk on two legs or four.
What to expect: During the service, people bring pets of all kinds to receive prayers and a blessing.
The service will be held in the Nave, our main worship space. Parking is available across the street from the church off of Pilot View St. All of God's creatures are welcome.
