All are welcome to participate in the 7th annual “Blessing of the Animals” event offered on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. New for this year: this event will be part of Kirkland Village's "Fall Festival" and we will have a tent on their property. Kirkland Village is located to the east of our church property; you can enter our campus via the Center Street drive and follow the signs. In case of bad weather it will be set up as a drive-through.
Blessings will be offered to pets of all kinds; it is requested that dogs be on leashes. You are also welcome to bring a photo of your pet, if that is more convenient.
This is a free event. If interested, participants are invited to bring donations of pet food and supplies that will be shared with the Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.
We can also use several volunteers for this event - to assist with set-up, greeting, blessing of the animals, and clean-up. If you can help, please contact us at 610-867-5865 or [email protected]. Thanks for considering!
