Join us on Saturday, October 4, at 4:00 p.m. for our annual Blessing of the Animals in celebration of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi.This year, we’ll gather for a standalone blessing service—a joyful occasion to give thanks for the pets and animal companions who enrich our lives. Bring your dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, turtles, or even a favorite stuffed animal to receive a special blessing.
📍 Location:
Outside on the St. Luke’s lawn (weather permitting)
Inside the fellowship hall if the weather doesn’t cooperate
The service will be similar to recent years but will include a special reading since it is not immediately preceded by Eucharist.
All are welcome—two-legged, four-legged, winged, or finned! Come celebrate the beauty of God’s creation and the animals who share our journey.
