#BLESSED Short Film Fundraiser

Join us at Rideback Ranch for a fun, and creative evening to raise money for our upcoming short film #BLESSED the story of a love-obsessed woman who becomes a kung fu master and saves the love of her life from being bullied by two ex-Mexican luchadores. It's a fun, wild, and outlandish action comedy (hink Coen-Bros meets Kung Fu Hustle but dipped in gold, fuchsia, and leopard print velour)!

WHAT'S GOING DOWN?

• 7pm- WELCOME FRIENDS!
• 7:15pm - Intro by Gabi and Vicki (there may, or may not be a bit of spoken word)
• 7:30pm - LITTLE CON LILI (short film screening)
• 8pm - WHAT TO EXPECT (short film preview screening)
• 8:30pm - Soulful Cuban boleros sang by the fabulous Mimi Davila
• 9:30m-11pm - Cuban Salsa played by Dj Warapo (I may or may not teach a short beginner salsa class).

IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO GO INTO PRODUCTION ON OUR FILM WE NEED TO RAISE BETWEEN $5000-$10,000!

We are asking for a MINIMUM donation of $30/ticket but if you are able to donate more, we'd be so grateful. Basically the space holds around 80 friends, so, if 80 friends donate $30 we raise $2400, but if all 80 donate $50 then we raise $4000. We need to raise a minimum of $5000 so however you can support us in getting to our goal would be appreciated! We will also have wine available for donations on site!

This film is being made through Rideback Rise a non-profit that supports mid-career BIPOC filmmakers. Gabi is one of the 6 fellows in Rideback Rise's inaugural cohort. Let's help Gabi and friends make the coolest f*cking film possible!
