Blessed Are The Peacemakers

Blessed Are The Peacemakers is Williamsburg Christian Church’s annual art show (we took a few years off since COVID) that explores how creativity and beauty can promote healing in a broken world. Previous events focused on specific themes like racial healing, gun violence, or mental health. This year, the theme is simply Peacemaking, acknowledging the need for healing and wholeness across the vast spectrum of human experience ranging from inner conflict to global conflict.

This is more than an art show. This will be an evening of community, conversations, and creative expression all centered around a theme of peaceMAKING. We are excited that artist Steve Prince, Director of Engagement & Distinguished Artist In Residence at William & Mary's Muscarelle Museum of Art, will be our main speaker for the evening. All artwork will be on display during an open house gallery and evening of creative expression from 5:30pm-9pm on May 10. The event will include an open house gallery from 5:30-6:30, performances 6:30-7, a keynote speaker and community discussion 7-8:30, and close at 9.
