Join us for the July workshop of the Home Farm Foodways series, which will include weekly farm workdays and monthly skill-building workshops at Wyck.
Nature awakens our senses with bright pops of color, let’s embrace the blossoms and put them in our teapot! Our experience will start by sampling a few Random Tea Room custom blends, combinations that have been inspired by local parks, poets and … pandemics. Each student will receive a 2 oz jar to sip sustainably and bring home filled with their own personalized blend. We will take a walk through the garden and talk about the plants growing around us and ways to incorporate them into our life. Upon return from the walk, we’ll explore an herbal apothecary and tea library, list our inspirational ingredients and put together a plan for your personal blend.
This workshop will take place at Wyck (6026 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144). We will gather in the education building next to the Walnut Lane entrance. .
