Blended Threads -Thrift and More

Blended threads is a blended community, networking experience, that incorporates, thrifting, local vendors, featured, artists, and open mic, live painters, fashion expos and more. When you enter blended threads you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from our facilitators and community members. This event is made to feel like a mini festival, we have an open mic competition that last 2 hours. We have secret judges in the audience that choose a winner based on authenticity and crowd impact. Three winners are chosen. The first winner wins a cash prize. The second winner will win free recording studio time. The third winner will wins a goodie bag from the local vendors in the room..

Attendees have the opportunity to engage in the community clothing swap. We do accept donations until the day of. This is The Blended Threads aspect where they can purchase a $10 dollar Blatmosphere tote bag and fill it up until there is no more space!

Encouraging the mission of sustainability any clothes left over from the event are given to Forsaken Apparel to pass out along with food and hygiene kits. Once an attendee buys a Blatmosphere tote bag they can bring the same one back to the next Blended Threads to thrift for free.
