Yeehaw! The Blazin' Saddles race is comin’ atcha, brought to ya by the York Road Runners Club and York Ridge Runners, right out there in the wild hills of Codorus State Park, down in Southern York County, Pennsylvania.The race is fixin’ to kick off on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
-25K gets goin’ at 9:00 a.m.
-8 Miler saddles up at 9:30 a.m.
You got two mighty fine race choices, both chasin’ the same trails at Codorus. The 8 Miler is one loop of the Ranger Trail, while the 25K takes that same trail and runs it twice. This course ain’t flat, but it sure has some runnable hills, with horse trails, single track, and just a lil' bit of road, less than a mile. So get ready to ride that trail like a wrangler on a wild bronco. And keep your wits about ya—March weather in PA is as unpredictable as a rattlesnake, so be ready for anythin’—heat, cold, rain, snow, mud, or even a freeze!
We’ll have a well-stocked aid station at the 8-mile mark, with water, electrolyte drinks, and plenty of real food to fuel ya for the journey.
