Blazing Hills 2025 invites you to an unforgettable outdoor experience in the breathtaking Ruapehu District. This one-of-a-kind event hosted on private farmland opened exclusively for Blazing Hills offers a mix of scenic trail runs walks and thrilling obstacle course races (OCR). Perfect for adventurers of all ages and fitness levels this is your chance to immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of New Zealand’s hill country while tackling a variety of challenges.
Event Highlights:
- Trail Runs/Walks: Choose from 4km 6km 11km or a 21km half marathon. Each course features stunning views rolling hills and a chance to connect with nature.
- Obstacle Course Racing (OCR): Test your strength and stamina in courses ranging from the 1.5km Mini Flames Kids OCR to the epic Triferno 20+km. There’s even a team challenge for groups!
- Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Enjoy camping options après-race food and beverages and games for the kids.
