On Monday, October 14th we found out our precious Octavia would fight a battle that no child should have to be up against, a cancerous tumor, called Neuroblastoma. Thankfully for this family, they are always ready for a fight.As answers are still coming in this is what we know so far: An ultrasound was done which showed a tumor in her abdomen, as the doctors opinions waivered it was clear, that to get answers, a biopsy would need to be done. The results were clearly Neuroblastoma that is on her right kidney. Neuroblastoma is defined as a cancer that develops from immature nerve cells found in several areas of the body. Scary, to say the least. In addition, a small spot close to her tailbone was discovered, at this time Doctors still are unclear whether or not it is related. All of this was so much information so fast for her family. They await more test to determine how aggressive this fight may get and have appreciated everyone’s support so far.
Through all this Octavia’s attitude has not changed, the light in her eyes is just as bright as ever. She continues to wreak havoc in every hospital room she has entered and gives every doctor her toothy, adorable smile. She still loves watching her Bluey and Ms. Rachel to distract her from the evil pulse ox monitor from going on her toe (yes, out of all these procedures she’s had thus far, that’s always the worst).
Everyday of this journey continues to get more confusing, frustrating, and scary. Staying positive and making sure this precious baby feels loved, her parents feel supported, and siblings feel unafraid, are the most important things to focus on.

Tickets will be $30.00 and cover food and drinks during the duration of the fundraiser.
If it’s not already known, this family loves to party. This may not be a celebration but in every hard circumstance they find themselves in, laughter, friends, family and a good time always makes this side of the fight stronger!
We are about to go to war with Neuroblastoma and we WILL win 🙏🏼 with God on our side.
