At the inaugural major event held on our reimagined campus, you’ll be among the first to experience the museum’s transformation, from bold architectural elements and new art installations to lush native landscaping. Designed by acclaimed international design firm Snøhetta, the project also features several site-specific commissions, including a mural by Cuban-American artist Carmen Herrera, and the Butler Sound Gallery. The new grounds offer a vibrant setting to honor the museum’s 60-year history and envision its bright future.
The Blanton Gala raises critical funds to support the museum’s nationally recognized programs—from thought-provoking exhibitions to inspiring educational initiatives—that serve more than 200,000 visitors annually.
