On September 12 at 10:30 a.m., author Joy Bashara will visit the library to share her experiences as an English teacher in Siberia following the dissolution of the USSR. Her new memoir, Blanketed in Truth, is an intimate portrait of bridging divides in a rapidly changing political landscape --- and it’s also a story of friendship. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library and copies of her book will be available for purchase. All are welcome to attend.
